Shooting Stuff have a few different options. The one mentioned above is the full leather, but standard jackets are only $270 (Leather/Canvas Mix), and Custom made Leather Canvas Jackets $395, Full Leather Custom $600, as well as Anschutz, Kustermann, Stenvagg Jackets.

Equipment checks for jackets must be done in full shooting clothes. The jacket must overlap by 100mm. TSNZ owns an ISSF approved tester which is used for this purpose. It pulls the jacket closed with an 8kg pressure so tseting is uniform we currently test all competitors at the TSNZ outdoor nationals with this device. The buttons are then marked by the examiner and the RO / Jury can check at any time. In ISSF world cups etc. testing is now done once only the jacket is tagged with an issf numbered tag and entered in the database. spot checks are done by equipment control at the end of the match
not quite correct in the comment above. The jury will isuue a warning (yellow card) and you have till the end of the match to rectify the violation and get rdechecked by equipment control then you get a deduction of two points for every shot the violation occurs. This is the reason equipment checks are done the day before the match and the shooter can rectify any issues and practise.
Craig Equipment Control Jury (Examiner) Sydney World Cup 2007
Note I and my fellow judges are quite happy to advise shooters especially when new gear is purcahsed. There are some manufacturers whose gear needs soe tuning (Sauer boots and jackets come to mind) Testing can also be done with a metal or perspex tester which has a slot for the button and an embedded screw or pin which is 100mm away.

I assume you mean on the equipment side so not really ... you need to read the indoor part of the rule book to obtain more specific info. E.g. there is no specs on blinders but in ISSF there is so if you are making a blinder and going outside then I would make it legal to start with. If you dont shoot outdoor then it doesn't matter. Our Rules are set by TSNZ rule sub committee and conference so dont necessarily follow current ISSF (Jan 2009) unless specifically referred to (outdoor and Air TSNZ rules only)
hope this helps
Perhaps danny can set up another forum page so people can do a Q & A on rules / officiating etc
