Yes Environs,
I know that the G. & E. works all the parts with high technology and ISO-certified but is very difficult to judge this new action.
The bottom is very flat and gives a good support on the stock, should not need bedding.The barrel is locked with screws and then, probably, you should be able to adjust the Headspace.
I assume that will mount a Lilja barrel with or Border chambered ad hoc for Tenex or R50.
The Bolt resembles Bleiker, short and compact in order to load the cartridge without moving the right elbow, 12.00 puller and fire-pin 6.00 (the ignition of the primer 6.00 o'clock is best) . The insertion of the cartridge in the chamber seem more complicated than in tradifionali Rifles and top-loading seems to me a bullshit .
Sight-track as you so rightly pointed out is already a good height without having to put shims often unstable.
The thing that puzzles me is the block around the bolt that runs on track lower and upper to open and close the chamber and and the amount of pieces you see the mechanism that drives the bolt. I looked at the mechanism of the bolt but it seems cumbersome and too many pieces, resembles Bleiker, but I have some doubts .....mmm.....that piece around the bolt which then needs to move and close .... and should slide forward and back ...manufacturers are very good but the tolerances between pieces that will endure?

My current Rating ...... Bleiker has already tested and reliable, and more "traditional ".... The G. & E. could be "revolutionary" but has yet to walk few years before run .... RACER Flyer Linear is certainly very aesthetic and appealing .....but do not buy a gun just for this

What do you recommend Environs .... I book Bleiker or I wait a couple of years??

Massimo, if you follow the link above and go to the last page(page 7 (?), before the picture of the factory), you will note that it states 'screwed barrel'.
The picture from underneath the action shows the bolts holding the action parts onto the base-plate, like the Bleiker, not clamping the barrel.
I would still like one though!

screwed barrel.....then the barrel is screwed and that's it! Not tighten with screws locking? perhaps I misreading the meaning....

I meant that even if the barrel is screwed on, rather than clamped (like a 2013), I would still like to own this new rifle, it is just a shame that I cannot afford it!

Anyway, what have you heard about a new Anschutz???
