I recall years ago, Fiocchi was a popular hunting ammo.
I've never heard of it being used in target shooting... but hey, I'm only young. wink

It was widely used a number of years ago for target shooting, up till Ely became more readily available. From memory, it had a fairly high mv and the extra recoil was, for me anyway, a bit hard to deal with. For all that, it shot quite well.

Hi I have seen it on the following web site, check it out:
http://www.ammunitiongalore.com.au/index_files/Fiocchi_Ammunition.htm

What price is he selling it for? Has a slow speed (320m/s)which some people like.

I looked at the site Fiocchi cartridges....it should deploy and perhaps build Fiocchi cartridges

In Italy Fiocchi manufacture many types of cartridges, especially for hunting and skeet shooting, big guns for handguns, ammunition of all types for NATO.

In our Country are dealt ,22 in 3 types for rifle and pistol ..... MAXAC for training ..... MATCH for training and competition .... SUPER MATCH for competition.
Until the 80's I used a similar type to the Super Match which were excellent as the Tenex but cost half the price, now I do not use them for some time.
MAXAC for rifle are too fast. MAXAC for pistol training is good for gun.
Try SuperMatch that should be good. In my club we do not use because the gunmen on Sunday only use MAXAC to spend little.

Pete,
All of our shooters shooting big-gun only use FIOCCHI and then reload cartridge cases, very strong and reliable

Hi Phil, there are a number of shooters from down your way who have used fiocci and some still do, Murry Reeves for one that I knoe for certain has used it in the past. Its quite noisy stuff on the range so must be getting very close to the speed of sound which may nit be a good thing cause if the projectile goes transonic it can become unstable and therefore may loose its accuracy. If you know Murry, have a chat to him, he hales from Oamaru, think he works at repco.

Hey guys, you're not a fight! Maybe you have bad shots (like me) this weekend?
Take a lovely herbal tea instead of tea or coffee ....... lol
The good shooter never loses its calm and not pissed for verbal banality or jokes / puns .
Join hands ... I do not want to hear bullets whistle!
--------------------------------------------------------
now after the lovely herbal tea ....... to help you relax I'll show you the Italian marksman Niccolò Campriani ( 23 years old ) in 10m Air Rifle Qualification European Championship 2009 .... last shot ....while others have made 40/50 shots.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6XdFFmk9Mw

P.S.
this year training with the American team fired two times 600/600

Italians do it better
