Born in Invercargill, I've been shooting smallbore for 50 odd years, winning my first Southland championship in 1959 at 13 years of age. Been and done most things. Inter-Island Teams, NZ Teams and the like. Had a spell in administration on the TSNZ Executive. Started work in sports goods retail and learned a bit about gunsmithing. Later years spent in company management flogging off aluminium smelter related equipment. Now semi-retired. Main strength : mental management. Main weakness : spending too much on quality gear.
