Hi I'm a British smallbore shooter and I have just discovered your forum whilst in my local library, waiting for my grandchildren who are listening to stories etc. Disappointed that someone else has my 'tenpointnine' id which I use on other sites, Stirton, Benchrest Central, 6mmBR etc, but that's showbiz. Only 1 problem - even less work will get done next week whilst browsing your forums!
Walter

Hello Walter
I am from Texas and I am a 4th generation rancher. I grew up riding/showing Quarter horses and gravitated towards racing motorcycles for 15 yrs.Dirt Bikes all!!
I am mainly a Long Range shooter, I "muddle through" in smallbore.I hold various High Master and Master classifications in high power.....Expert in smallbore, I must do something about that.
I hold two Master's degrees, one in Economics and one in International Finance.I was an Economics Fellow for two years teaching at University, I even did a studies abroad program at LSE, in London,...boy were they glad to see me go!!
I have shot all over the world, New Zealand,Canada(3), South Africa(4),and Bisley(3). My last foray to Bisley was in 2000, the vaulted Millennium Matches, 1850+ shooters and I walked away with a St.Georges Finals badge. I clawed my way to 42..it was not a pretty sight.Did I mention that I am still an Expert in smallbore....darn I have to do something about that!! I will be in Brisbane, Australia 2011 for the World Long Range Championships.
I am somewhat of a Technocrat when it comes to my rifles.
This is somewhat tedious and I apologize, it serves to introduce myself also, as it seems I was rude and never did so when I joined!!

Hi Massimo, yes Anschutz 1607 in 1912 stock, Eley Match.
Grumpy - granddaughters are 6 and 9. Said to the 6 yr old yesterday that I have lost half a stone and will soon be as slim as her. Quick as a flash she replied "Keep dreaming!"
Phil - Not only has tenpointnine pinched my id, you have pinched my tag line! I myself stole it from famous Liverpool football team manager Bill Shankley, who stated that football wasn't a matter of life and death, it was more important than that.
Roy - your posts about headspace etc helped to make my first visit to this site on Saturday afternoon just fly by. Went to library at 1pm and whilst they were listening to stories etc, I was discovering this site. Next thing I knew it was 3.30pm.
I know someone in Northumberland (UK) whose son is a champion quarter horse rider and goes to Texas every year - Chris(?) Dalton, don't know if you know him.
Although my shooting isn't brilliant at the moment, I was British Short Range Champion (25yds) in 2006, and 2nd in the British Championship at Bisley in 2005.
