We got this glove in for a sample and it is as good as it looks wondering who would be keen if I ordered a few.

UPDATE: We are now taking orders for gloves and they have given us a special price however need to order 10! they will cost NZ$49.50 plus shipping (NZ$5.50) (NZ parcel post) as I will need to run it through the business we can take Paypal, Visa or MasterCard.

The sizing is the same as the White Anschutz Gloves so try one on at your local club as we will not be refunding ones that do not fit.

Danny de Hek (1 left hand M)
Wheelz (1 left hand L)
Gordon Wright (1 left hand L or XL)
Rachel McLaren (1 left hand M)

6 more needed!

Excellent gloves are made from leather and have a soft synthetic lining with a good amount of padding for all shooting positions. They have a strong rubber grip exterior in the support areas and are easy to put on.

I will need to ask them when we have a number as they said they would ship less than 100!

If we get 10 I am sure they would supply us! my one cost NZ$85 so I am thinking if we can get them landed via customs (12.5 GST) they shouldn't be more than NZ$50 each.

So let say NZ$50 plus $5.50 shipping.

If I bring them in I would need to run it through our business! however not trying to make money just covering cost!

Hey Danny,
I'd be keen to get one, but not sure if I'd be L or XL I would need to try one on to be sure.
Cheers

Hi Danny Re getting gloves- Very ontrapernerial. If I could (humbly) sugget maybe supporting any one of the local ie NZ suppliers who are trying to ek out a living suppling a sport they love with a whole range of shooting products. For an extra $20 you could get one locally of same quality, rather than going into compition with the locals (including those who just got your new jacket). If we all start importing and flogging off gear these guys would cease to exist. I am very thankful for these guys (& I mean all the various shops/outlets including TSNZ) for bring stuff in and supling great service. Just my thinking. Environs

I do believe you are so right environs.
I guess we can get so caught up in what we are doing we forget about that, it would be bloody hard to get the stuff we need if it wasn't for them.

Thanks for pointing that out.

To me it is about getting the right gear in a fair time frame, I emailed TSNZ about getting a New Jacket and by the time I got a reply I had already measured myself ordered and paid for it with Shooting Stuff.

I did try to order a standard Anschutz Jacket 50 inch from TSNZ however I was to FAT for it ;-) I needed a 52 inch and they would need to order it for me at the same time a friend of mine ordered a new jacket with TSNZ this was two weeks before I ordered my custom made ahg-Shooting Jacket Stenvaag Skorpion FUSION he is still waiting for the SHIP to port.

Talking to others who have ordered gear they had waited 3 months for gear!

I hear what you are saying and some feel very strongly about this so I am not trying to piss anyone of but if I order these gloves for others once I make the order I will have them within New Zealand in one week.

I think TSNZ could give people the option of Air Mail or Economy Shipping via Boat!! I hope I am wrong however looks like they are not into change when it comes to the way they supply.

I get a lot of stuff from TSNZ already including my last glove however these gloves are much better than the TSNZ ones on offer and $35 cheaper.

Maybe you don't know about my hunt I had for my gear, finding, Mat, Bag, Scope, Scope Stand, Bullet Holders, Jackets, My Rifle! I will be selling all the gear that took me months to find online soon!

As Nick from Shooting Stuff said "he is just trying to keep the sport alive" and I feel if Target Shooting New Zealand are not going to do it or do not have the resources other people/companies will step up.

I feel this site is doing a lot for the sport and it cost me $ each month to keep it running however we all do what we can even the posts that we are getting is making the sport better (including this one)

Mat & Bag Got that from another shooter at the Andrew & Faulkner.
Scope Got that from a shop in a mall (after word of mouth) cost me $400 plus I hunted around for a stand for it for months I purchased 2 scope stands $150 they were both hopeless until some kind shooter offered to make me one for only $40 it got me started however having a scope that I spend 80% of my time setting up before a shoot held up my shooting until I found the right scope supplier and got a far better one for $580 that was not as big and could handle a normal stand.
Scope Stand biggest hunt yet was going to get a Freeland Bipod Scope Stand from USA for US$115.00 however they would not ship to NZ so looked at getting one from the UK for 155 pounds plus 60 pound shipping! found one in Auzzie for about AU$320 then the night before I ordered I asked a member and got one made in New Zealand from the local hunting store in ChCh cost me NZ$300 I can now sell them to others for NZ$250
Jacket I did not know about TSNZ when I 1st started and was told that once a year TSNZ has them at a shooting match (Andrew & Faulkner) I when along with $1800 to get a AHG Shooting Jacket not knowing they needed to be custom made they only had two brands on offer and one size left for me three of my mates got one $280 Sauer and $320 Anschutz so I got the 50 inch (Sauer) as they had ran out of the Anschutz Jacket in my size! couldn't wait another year.

They did not even have order your custom made jacket on offer.

I did support them I ordered my Glove ($85) Jersey ($180) Testers ($30) Sauer Jacket ($280) O and a stand for my FWB 2700 ($45) that took 5 plus weeks to land in NZ

I know the people who work supplying the gear for TSNZ have there own businesses and work blooding hard keeping this dieing sport running and are doing it for charity and I thank them! however I like having 2-3 difference option when I am looking for my gear!

I have spent far to much money getting the right gear and if this site helps people who want the best them we are on the 10.1 target!

What I like about this sport you may be able to have all the best gear (if it rings ya bell) and the guy next to using 50 year old gear can shoot far better than the younger keen shooter with all the tech gear!

New Zealand is such a small market in the global scheme of things and there is such a huge variety of stuff available out there but no one supplier in NZ could affort to stock on the shelf the options available. There would be megabucks of stuff just waiting to get sold.
We are therefor stuck with having to indent gear on request. I agree with what Danny said, if we have to get gear in, surely we should have the opportunity to get it as quickly as we can knowing there will be an additional freight cost. Waiting months seems a little rediculous.
I believe more purchasing options helps the sport.
If it comes down to the survival of NZ suppliers then (cold as it may seem) I think they need to look at themselves and ask if they are doing it right and in the interest of their prospective customers.
To look after the sport you must look after the shooter and make it as easy as possible for the new shooter to get set up so they can focus on shooting.
I know I sound a bit harsh but I've seen all this in the sport of Paintball that I just came from where the few NZ suppliers were resting on the thought that they were the only source of gear, but they are now waking up to the fact that the internet has broken all that down made things very competitive.

Thus endeth my rant.

Cheers,
Pete

I thought twice about making my reply but thought best to not make a public fuss, however seeing the replies above have decided to make it public anyway:
I think Danny was hoping to do us a good turn without thinking to deeply about the consequences. However we should remember that he too is a businesman trying to eek out a living even though he may be deviating in his product lines.
Don't get me wrong, I do see where you are coming from Environs, but ask that you cut him some slack, afterall he is providing this forum at his cost.
Both Danny and Wheelz have hit the nail right on the head when they talk about the delays in getting stuff here in a timely mannor and I for one have got some head turning frights when stuff has arrived 6 months or more after talking to the supplier about it and had I known how much it was going to cost, probably wouldn't have botherd (on account of the fluctuating exchange rate).
Cheers

Hi guys I did say "Humbly suggest maybe supporting locals" I also said "very ontrapanerial". I was not trying to shut you down or slag what your doing, go for it. It was ment just as a suggestion to consider. I to am always looking to find gear as cheaply as possible. If you were offering AHG Swing fore site for %20 less than others then I'd probably be considering it because thats what I'm after at the moment (read double standard). I would however give locals a chance to offer a price for bulk purchase.
Danny you've obviously put time and effort into it, awsome. I had heard about time delays with TSNZ so have never tried to deal with them. Shooting Stuff have always been awsome to deal with.
I personally am totally appriciative with what your doing with this web site and apologies if I have caused you any grief. Environs

Grief I couldn't get any inners all day long! now I have something to blame! don't be silly this is what the site is all about and we welcome/value what member say.

Half the gear I have hunted down comes from shooters who are trying to move there gear and have no idea how to go about it using the Internet if they were to setup a website to sell there Mats, Scopes, Scope Stands it would cost them far to much!

To be honest is it not worth my time however I like doing it!

We setup online shops all the time and are setting up one to sell all kinds of New Zealand Stuff see www.nz-shop.co.nz we normally charge $3000+GST to setup and $300+GST per month to keep them running.

Check out the last one we did http://www.pet-products.co.nz there is a lot of work in setting them up however they work!

I have 1200 products load into www.nz-shop.co.nz when we find the time about 5-10 of the products will be shooting gear and they will be priced on covering our cost other products will be there to make us money so I can get a horse truck for Rachael!

If you are ever thinking of ordering ask me if that is our best price and I will see what we can do!

Thought maybe the " Shooting Gloves" thread needed a "bump" so we can get to ten.
Wouldn't mind getting a glove soon.
