Hello, we started a year ago shooting .22 to practise wind for our 50 BMG. We got hooked and have jumped in with no regrets...
we have excepted the "prone pain" and look forward to learning all we can.
I shoot 3-p sporter and my husband shoots match prone.

Welcome Mr & Mrs 1000yds. Woohoo 50cal!!! Do you hunt with that as well and does it have wheels under it? Cause that is a cannon.

My husband is the wheeler; it weighs 50lbs. We haven't hunted with it yet, although my husband would like to video tape me on a hunt. I shoot it off the bench and need to learn to take the 'push' in prone position. But, I am having too much fun shooting .22, which has taken up most of our shooting time this year.

We were fortunate enough to attend Outdoor Canadian Nationals a few weeks ago, just up the road a couple of hours from our home. This was our first big match and we are were thrilled with all our training, as we both shot personal bests and placed well in our classes.

We got a chance to go out last weekend with the 50...in celebration we shot rocks at 1100 yards...easier than shooting 10's at 50m with the .22...LOL

Any trigger time is a good time.

I would love to go to Canada! I was planning to move to Vancouver this year but couldnt afford it at the time.
Still hope to get there sometime!
